21st Annual Schooner Wharf Bar Minimal Regatta

The 21st Annual Memorial Day tradition of the Schooner Wharf Bar Minimal Regatta captivated thousands of spectators along the Key West Harbor Walk as thirty three energetic and determined competing teams enjoyed the holiday hijinks.

The event is a reflection of the colorful, creative and unique spirit of Key West and its people. Fun filled, creative and just a bit different from the rest!

Congratulations to Katie Leigh paddling Splash in the Open Design and Troy Roberts captain of Wild Child in the Kayak/Canoe Design for their 1st Place finish. Earning the Most Creative Design, for the 3rd year in a row, was Emerson and the talented Fariss family. Harpoon Harrys 1959 Pink Cadillac vessel (with period costumes) was voted Best Paint Job. The team effort of the Dinghy Duckys triumphed in the Best Costume category and the dubious honor of the Best Sinker went to the Buckwild America entry.
