2003 WRECKER'S CUP RACE SERIES RESULTS!!!
January 19th - 25th, 2003
The eagerly anticipated first race in the fun filled Schooner Wharf Bar Wreckers Race Cup Series took place Sunday, January 19, 2003. A few race week yachts joined our local fleet to fill Key West waters with billowing full sails. Race conditions were NNE winds blowing 15-20 knots, following seas and an out going tide contributed to the captain and crew strategy in the seven mile race to Sand Key.

Conditions for the second race of the Schooner Wharf Bar Schooner Wharf's Wreckers Cup Race 2003 blew in with 15-20 knot winds from the north. A sailing fleet of 40 ventured the choppy after storm seas Sunday. Strategy and seamanship yielded the following results.

It was a brave and fearless fleet that took to the high seas this Sunday for the third race of the Schooner Wharf Bar Wreckers Cup Race Series. The armada ranged from local 24 foot J-24 vessels to the Denis Sullivan a 140 foot 3 masted Schooner, hailing from Wisconsin. Maritime conditions went from serene and breezy to wet & stormy for a day of sailing adventure.
