A
week of devilish delights at Schooner Wharf Bar….
Pleasure
and pain, agony and ecstasy combine all week in the Schooner Wharf
Bar’s Garden of Good and Evil.
The bar’s back room will be decorated in contradicting dark and light,
and will feature a golden heavenly experience in the early hours with
goddesses fanning patrons and grape-feeding demonstrations.
But the darkness eventually descends into the garden, where
punishments will be meted out under the devilish glare of black lights
and haunting costumes.
The garden will be open all week, as will the bar’s new informal
theater on the large wall right outside. Halloween movies, along with
shots of local costumed bandits will be projected onto the wall as
soon as the sun goes down.
But the action gets hotter, and sweatier, toward the end of the week
as the Fantasy Mile Fun Run leaves from
Schooner Wharf Bar at 5:00 p.m. on Dec. 8th.Costumed and non-costumed
runners are welcome to compete for cash and prizes.
But
costumes are recommended for Friday night’s Costume Ball, where
everyone’s free to be someone else for the evening. The Schooner Wharf
Bar has adapted the theme to fit its own quirky style. Hippie Freaks,
Sexy Geeks and Fallen Goddesses will compete for cash prizes and gift
certificates. Costume Ball Costume Competition for the best freak,
geek & goddess at 7:30 p.m.
The staff will be outlandishly attired, along with their favorite
customers. Show up to enter one of several contests going on all
night.
The masquerade madness continues after the parade Saturday night with
the walk-on Costume Contest in which
the audience picks the winners in a variety of categories. Anyone can
enter the fun and all costumes are eligible.
Great live music will resonate from the stage from noon till late
night all week
You're in for a treat with the trickery of close up magic nightly,
with house magician Frank Everhart.
