Schooner Wharf Celebrates 13 years of Magic!
Frank Everhart’s Magic Bar at the world famous Schooner Wharf will celebrate its 13th anniversary Saturday night, May 15th. The party starts at 7 pm and everyone is invited to the Schooner Wharf for a bash that is going to make lucky number 13 a unforgettable evening! Key West’s best magicians with gather together that night to help commemorate Frank’s 13 year anniversary (did we mention it’s his birthday too!). These performers have entertained us on the island for years including: Captain Bill Grosscup, Tim Glancey, Alan Gold, Greg Wythe, James Michael, Jeep and a celebrity magic guests Frank has in store for you. 	At 9 pm internationally acclaimed, comedic-magician Levent will be taking the stage. One of the funniest stage magicians in the business today, Levent is guaranteed to put everyone in stitches as he bewilders you from the stage! www.leventmagic.com Key’s fam’ radio personality Bill Hobee and Captain Bill Grosscup will emcee the event. Local favorites, Caffeine Carl and Raven Cooper will be on stage to sing and play the night away and help Frank celebrate!
For those not familiar with the story, Captain Bill will recount the tail of how bar magic was born in America, starting with Frank’s father, Frank Everhart Sr., and his legacy. Frank Sr. pioneered Bar Magic at the World Renowned Ivanhoe Restaurant and Theater in the Chicago of the 1940’s. Frank Sr. performed for Lyndon B. Johnson, he was the magician on “The Bozo Show” WGN Chicago for ten years, and he ran his one night stand at the Ivanhoe into an incredible 21-year career! Captain Bill also plans on telling the amusing story of how the magic bar really got started at the world famous Schooner Wharf Bar. If you weren’t there to see it happen, you won’t believe how it happened!

Randy Quaid, Clarence Clements, Al Jardin, of the Beach Boys, Smashing Pumpkins, John Walsh, & Jerry Jeff Walker are just a few of the celebrities who have frequented Schooner Wharf and enjoyed close-up slight of hand, and have been just as entertained as the local following.
