KICK OFF PARTY & CONCH BLOWING CONTEST RESULTS
The Kick-Off Party at Schooner Wharf Bar, the Official Headquarters of the Conch Republic Independence Celebration �succeeded� and a great time was had by all. The Afro-Caribbean processional Caribbean Queen Junkanoos delighted Conch-patriots with their extravagant costumes, drums, horns, cowbells, and whistles to launch our celebration. Erica with her specially created Most Entertaining Performance Award	Contributing to the opening festivities was the popular Conch Shell Blowing Contest. The winner of the Most Musial Blow was defending champion Sunny Andracchio. Placing second was Steve Giles, followed by Matt Newton in third and Aleck Oaks in fourth place. The Loudest and Longest Blow Hard of the evening belonged to Bosco. Pam Heart took home honors with second place, Tim Watson captured third, with Katie Walker finishing fourth. A Special �Most Entertaining Performance� Award was given to Erica and a �Most Entergetic� Award was created for Sylvia.
