We had a �Hot Time� with our annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration. Fun contests and Latino salsa from Sue�o Tropical made for a sizzling night. Results: Taco Eating Contest (Male) -- Daniel Wieczorek; Taco Eating Contest (Female) -- Jessica Johnson; Hot Pepper Eating Contest -- Ronnie Russo (3-year winner); Mexican Hat -- Sue Maurer. Lick the salt from your hand, or shove a lime into a bottle of beer at the 16th Annual Cinco de Mayo Fiesta at Schooner Wharf Bar on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 (obviously.)

Give your tongue a South of the Border searing in the Hot Taco Eating Contest ---a timed competition to see who can eat 3 Schooner Wharf Tacos, down a shot of Cuervo Tequila, eat a hot jalape�o, and finish an icy cold Corona in the least amount of time.

Last year a �Hot Time� was had in the Male Taco Eating Competition by first place winner Chris Arden, who challenges all taco eaters!

Local Eliza Mack showed her skills as the Female Taco Eating Champion. Hot Pepper Eating Contest winner, and also of Key West, Ronnie Russo for the second year in a row proved to be �Hot Stuff.�

D.J. Se�or Bill Hoebee will offer color commentary of the contest during a live remote broadcast for SUN 99.5.

Or you can win a prize for the best Mexican hat while sipping margaritas and listening to hot Latino music.

Dance to the hot sounds of Sue�o Tropical featuring Dayami Y Sus Amigos! Miguel and Dayami Cruz burn on vocals and hot conga drums. Special guest Jose Rodriquez sizzles on flute, vocals and electric sax. Come ready to dance, dance, dance into the steamy Cinco de Mayo night!
