12 YEARS OF MAGIC AND MAYHEM AT THE SCHOONER WHARF�

There�s a magical corner at the Schooner Wharf Bar, where resident Magician Frank Everhart constantly amazes and bewilders even the sharpest eye with his mastery of illusion and sleight of hand.

Frank�s Magic Bar will celebrate its 12th anniversary on Friday, May 15 at Schooner Wharf with an illusion show and plenty of tricks up some of the most magical sleeves in Florida.

The party begins at 7 p.m. with live music while local and visiting magicians baffle the crowd with a variety of masterful mysteries.

For a dozen years, Frank has followed in his legendary father�s footsteps. Frank Everhart, Sr., made a living performing up-close, bar magic at the Ivanhoe Restaurant and Theater in Chicago, where he bewildered the likes of Lyndon B. Johnson.

But it�s not all magic at Frank�s Magic Bar, there are plenty of raucous jokes and jaw-dropping antics that could only take place in Key West, where magic and margaritas prove to be the perfect combination.

Magic Bar regulars say they�ve watched Frank for 12 years, and still can�t figure out how he does what he does with cards, coins, napkins and anything else he lays his nimble hands on.
With a trademark hat and easy smile, Frank draws his spectators in and grabs hold of their attention.

The anniversary party also marks Frank�s birthday, so join him in celebrating two milestones. He will share plenty of stories about his famous father, as well as the �real� truth behind how the magic bar started.

Then again, with magicians, what is reality?

Popular radio personality Bill Hoebee will emcee the festivities with local magician Capt. Bill Grosscup, while the Robert Douglas Band brings the magic of live music to the Schooner Wharf stage.

Frank performs Wednesday through Sunday nights from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., and often on Monday and Tuesday nights, as well.
