Parrotheads are familiar with
the Jimmy Buffett song that tells listeners that there is no plane on
Sunday, November 4, 2007. The song convinces people to spend their last day
of vacation sipping tropical cocktails on a sunny island.
So squeeze a lime into a margarita or Corona, and enjoy the end of
Parrotheads in Paradise at Schooner Wharf Bar.
Join the light hearted competition for the best "Blown-Out Flip Flop,"
pucker up while bobbing for limes, or limboing on the wharf. The island
songs of Jim Morris and the Big Bamboo Band
will entertain with Jimmy Buffett songs, and tons of others for those who
may have had enough "Wastin' Away in Margaritaville."
Schooner Wharf is not only the spot to end the party on Sunday, but is also
the best place to begin the Parrothead experience on Wednesday, October 31,
at 2:00 p.m. for the Kick Off Party.
The Parrothead festival begins at Schooner Wharf Bar with free
Margaritaville Tequila tastings and dancing to the music of Michael McCloud
& Friends during the afternoon, and the tunes of
Gary Hempsey and Russ Scavelli from 7:00
p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
